The Social Robotics Group at Heriot-Watt University was founded in 2018 by Dr. Katrin Lohan. The focus of the group is on human-robot interaction in the context of social interactions and natural interfaces for teachable robots.

Currently, the group comprises 4 MSc students, 7 Ph.D. candidates, 3 PostDocs and 1 faculty member. We currently are involved in 4 projects, namely the ORCA hub, the Embodied Robots for Industry Engagement and Health project the RoboCation project and the Electricity Load and Market Forecasting project.
