Refined composition ontology for rule-based languages, based on the Visual language of I1.
Abstract
This report discusses the question of how to modulerize rules using composition techniques developed within working group I3. Two rule languages are addressed, R2ML from working group I1 and Xcerpt from working group I4. For R2ML, we discuss how to generalize rules into instantiable templates. For Xcerpt we discuss how to encapsulate a set of rules as reusable modules and discuss its implementation using the Reuseware Composition Framework of I3.
