The
MSc/PG Diploma in Actuarial Science at Heriot-Watt University is one of only a
small number of postgraduate programmes accredited by the Actuarial
Profession. It is designed for graduates
with strong mathematical knowledge and skills who are looking to enter the
actuarial profession. Topics covered on the course correspond to the CT1- CT8
series of the joint examinations of the Faculty and Institute of Actuaries.
Students who perform well on the course can obtain exemption from some or all
of these professional exams.
