Information for Prospective Students Arriving in 2011-12

The programme is primarily intended for graduates with a strong mathematical background. Our normal minimum entry requirement is the equivalent of a UK 2.1 degree in mathematics, statistics or a related subject with a high mathematics or statistics content. The programme is mathematically very demanding and moves at a fast pace. Therefore, a willingness to work hard and a drive to succeed are important prerequisites.

If you don't have a first degree in mathematics or statistics, please see here for more information about the mathematical skills and knowledge we expect applicants to have before commencing the programme.

These skills are not taught and so applicants who don't have the requisite mathematical background and skills will struggle to keep up. If you are not sure then please ask!
