2006 SCOR UK Actuarial Prize

We are delighted that Claire Dudley, MSc in Actuarial Science 2004-05, has won the 2006 SCOR UK Actuarial prize for her MSc dissertation

"Bayesian Analysis of an Aggregate Claim Model Using Various Loss Distributions" 

written here in the summer of 2005 and supervised by Dr George Streftaris and Professor Gavin Gibson.

 

Claire's prize was presented at a special dinner hosted by SCOR in London on 30 November.

Claire becomes the first student to win both the Faculty of Actuaries Prize for best performance in the taught Diploma modules and the SCOR Prize.
