Andrew David Stott

I teach Actuarial Risk Management which is the first in the second tier of exams required to qualify as a member of the Actuarial Profession.

I studied Theoretical Physics at Edinburgh University before joining Standard Life as an actuarial student. I qualified as an actuary there and worked in investment, marketing, valuation and reinsurance departments. I began teaching at Heriot-Watt in May 2010.
