This consists of 2000 Creative Commons images and accompanying emotion categorisation frequency data.

Each image downloaded had, as a minimum, an Attribution-Non Commercial-NoDerivs 2.0 Generic (CC BY-NC-ND 2.0) licence. This permits sharing. The licence permits resizing.

In addition to the image files, and the normalised tag frequency vectors, a number of ways of presenting the database are packaged with it. One of these is an attribution database which contains details of each image and its creator.

The attribution database and also another presentation of the image set, a self-organising map of all 2000 images, give access to emotion profile charts. These charts are described in David Robb’s thesis and also in some of the papers also accessible on this site.

The package comes with instructions on how to install various components including the attribution database.

D.
