Introduction

I am a postdoc in the School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences at Heriot-Watt University. I work with Laura Ciobanu, on the EPSRC-funded project Equations in groups, formal languages and complexity.

  • 2018 - present: Postdoc, Heriot-Watt University.
  • 2016 - 2018: Jack Reseach Fellow, University of Glasgow.
      • Funded by the William Jack Prize fund, for the most outstanding PhD student in Mathematics at the University of Glasgow over the preceeding 3 years.
  • 2014 - 2016: Affiliate, University of Glasgow.
  • 2009 - 2014: EPSRC-funded PhD Student, University of Glasgow.
      • Supervisors: Steve Pride and Tara Brendle.
  • 2004-2009: MMath Mathematics (1st Class), University of St Andrews.

Research interests
