• Continuous assessment counts for 15 percent of the final mark

Every week I will hand out one sheet with problems, which you should try to solve in your own time before the weekly tutorial classes. The problems and their solutions will be discussed during the tutorials. There will be two tests, covering the material in the lectures and tutorials. The tests will be announced, and will last no more than 50 minutes. The two tests constitute the continuous assessment component of this module, which counts for 15 % of the overall assessment. The final written examination contributes 85 % to the final mark. You can check your test results via ``my grades'' on the vision page for this course.
