ANALYTICAL AND NUMERICAL SOLUTIONS OF THE SEMILINE BURGERS EQUATION

We consider the semiline Burgers equation with oscillating boundary condition.
Analytical solutions are compared to the results coming from different
numerical simulations, relative to both integrable and non-integrable
discretizations. It is found that, unlike integrable discretizations,
non-integrable discretizations fail at high frequencies.
