Implementation An alpha-release of the GdH implementation is available on request <firstname.lastname@example.org> it shares substantial components of the GUM implementation of GpH (Glasgow parallel Haskell).
GdH Applications and Evaluation
- An EPSRC project High Level Techniques
for Distributed Telecommunications Software (GR/R88137) is now
underway and is entering its first GdH phase. The project
evaluates GdH and Erlang in a telecommunications context, the work is
collaboration between Heriot-Watt University and Motorola UK Research Labs.
- GdH has been used in a MSc project at
Heriot-Watt to construct efficient implementations of algorithmic skeletons for use in parallel
There is a forthcoming Ph.D. thesis on the design, implementation and
use of GdH by Robert Pointon.
- GdH and Eden are being compared, based on a distributed file server constructed in both.
