Guides for the division:

In division, each unit of the quotient is placed just next to the left from the respective unit of the dividend,
forward the unit to the left. When examples in division are solved without using multiplication, the process
is called short division. Short division is used only when the divisor is less than 10. The following are the
guides for Short division.
Given two numbers, D as the dividend with n digits ( Dn, Dn-1 ,..., D2, D1 ) and V as the divisor :

If Di=x* V where x is an integer, then division Di by V is equal to x:
One by one, forward one (If Di=1 and V=1, Di by V equals 1, cancel the Di, 1, at the ith position and place at the i
+1 position the quotient, 1.) Two by one, forward two etc. Four by two, forward two, Nine by three, forward three etc.

If (Di<V) then replace the figure Di in the ith position with the result from the division (Di*10)/V and add the remainder to i-1 position:
One by two equals to five (If Di=1 and V=2, Di by V equals to 0.5, replace the figure Di, 1, at the ith position with the fingure in the quotient, 5, and add the remainder to the i
+1 position). One by three equals to three with remainder one. One by six equals one and remainder four.
Five by six equals eight with remainder two etc.
