The Chinese abacus

Welcome to the Web Site of the Chinese abacus. The visitor can find here historical information about the abacus and its use. Also, a demonstration of how to place a number on the abacus, as well as how to do the basic arithmetic operations using the abacus is available. In addition, a Java simulation of the abacus can help you to get experienced in using it.
