S.S. Sir Walter Scott
on Loch Katrine

On the afternoon of Thursday 23rd August, the outing will be to Loch Katrine, in the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, an area of great natural beauty. We will take a boat trip on the S.S. Sir Walter Scott, the only surviving screw steamer in regular passenger service in Scotland. After the boat trip there is an opportunity for afternoon tea at the Captain's Rest, adjacent to the pier.
