Please note:
- These guidelines are in no way an attempt to publish 'official' rules
for this game. Although these rules were derived from and expanded upon
guidelines found in official literature licensed by Paramount, no claims
are made concerning the correctness of these rules.
- The purpose of this document is to provide Trek/chess fans a workable
set of guidelines by which to play Star Trek 3-D Chess, for which there
are currently no other strict rules published.
- Assuming this document survived the nets, it should be ready-formatted
for printing to the printer with appropriate page breaks.
Every attempt has been made to provide clear and understandable
diagrams where necessary. Because most people may not even recall what the
3-D Chess board looks like, the first order of business will be to provide
a visual representation of the board, and of course a detailed explanation
of the board names, layout, and mechanics.
