Hiya! My name is Mei Yii Lim, known as Meiyii by my colleagues. I am currently a research associate for the EU FP7 LIREC project. Before this, I was working in the EU FP6 eCIRCUS project.

I have completed my PhD under the supervision of Prof. Ruth Aylett in 2007 where I created an intelligent agent with attitude that improves tour experiences. More information is available on the PhD Research link.

I completed my MSc in Virtual Environments in 2002.  I developed a Virtual Graffiti system (of which I named MYVG system) for my dissertation. Want to know more about MYVG System? Click on MSc Dissertation link.

I am interested in multidisciplinary research areas including cognitive and emotion modelling, intelligent virtual agents, narrative system and multimodal interaction.
