to model uncertainty in decision making, and to model insider
knowledge.

brings computing closer to humans. It is an
approach
to computational intelligence that combines several mathematical
techniques that are good models of human reasoning. Soft computing
includes fuzzy logic, neural networks, genetic algorithms, and game
theory.
