Modifying a Palm OS Application

In this lab you are asked to take the application from Lab 1 and to modify it to look and behave differently.

As before start by opening the Palm Developer Suite.

• Modify the appearance of the application

  Open the XRD file using the Resource Editor. Change the labels on the buttons and add a new control of your choice. Modify the header file (the .h file) to match your new resources (use the numbers assigned by the Resource Editor. Save everything and rebuild. Show the results to the lab helper for your first tick.

• Add a new answer to the application on the History Form.

  Create an event handler and add it to the application. Show this working for your second tick.

• If you have time, add a new category of questions, a new question for that category and some answers.

  If you get that far, show to the lab helper for the winning prize (your third tick).
