In this practical you will gain experience of the MySQL DBMS using an interactive SQL tool. You also have the opportunity to experiment with the SQL query language. It is not assessed, but you will need the skills developed in this practical for the assessed coursework.
MySQL is available on the Linux workstations in room 2.50. It is installed on a server mysql-server-1, and you will use it in client-server mode.
