The iCub is a new chapter in the humanoid robot world which sees the technology become more human than ever.

Learning from what he sees and hears like children, the iCub is intended to build up a bank of experience like humans – learning right from wrong and making considered decisions based on these facts.

Developed by Dr Katrin Solveig Lohan, a human-robot interaction (HRI) expert at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, iCub is open source, meaning that the software which he runs is freely available to others. More ..
