AISEC seminar: Robust Plan-Based Robot Control

This week's seminar is:
Dr Michael Cashmore, University of Strathclyde
Title: Robust Plan-Based Robot Control
Wednesday, 23rd of February, 09:00 GMT.

Abstract: The topic of the seminar will focus on temporal and numeric challenges that arise in plan execution. If a plan is produced with some flexibility, intended to be executed in an uncertain environment, how it can be executed? The seminar will cover properties of temporal controllability and robustness envelopes, which describe the flexibility allowed in a plan, the perturbations that can be observed in the environment for which a plan can be successful, and a window through which to analyse the fragility of a plan.

Generally, all AISEC seminars are open for all interested colleagues, see
There is a mailing list to join, if you wish to get seminar reminders and updates.
