The communities surrounding the industry are very diverse and span across a wide domain of interesting topics, from web technologies down to physical hardware. If you are interested in learning a little more about why Open Source Software is so popular and even how you can become involved in some of the projects then please attend Open Source Exposed. During the talk you will hear some history on how Open Source Software became popular, a wide range of interesting software projects you can go and play with, how you can help these projects to improve and grow and finally a deep dive into one of the most famous Open Source projects of all time, the Linux kernel!
