Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:

• Ability to solve mathematical problems in algebraic geometry
• Understanding of the role of algebraic geometry across modern mathematics
• Ability to model algebraic questions using geometry, and conversely to apply algebraic machinery of sheaves and categories to study geometry.
