Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:
- demonstrate an understanding of fundamental calculus concepts, including limits, continuity, and differentiation
- apply calculus techniques to solve problems involving functions of a single variable, such as curve sketching and optimization
- evaluate the convergence and divergence of infinite series using various tests
- utilize multivariate calculus to analyse functions of several variables, including partial derivatives and multiple integrals
- explain the connections between calculus concepts and their applications in various fields
