Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:
- apply integration techniques to evaluate definite and indefinite integrals
- solve first and second-order differential equations using appropriate methods
- utilise vector calculus to analyse vector fields, calculate line integrals, and apply the fundamental theorems of vector calculus
- apply matrix operations to solve systems of linear equations and analyse eigenvalues and eigenvectors
- model real-world problems using mathematical concepts from calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra
