Aims
Development of knowledge and skills for testing and evaluating a software project, on a topic that is specific to the area of cyber security.
Syllabus
1. Testing and Evaluation of software
2. Dealing with data intensive applications
3. Report writing
4. Verbal communication of project work
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:
- demonstrate knowledge and practice in testing and evaluation of software development projects
- document software projects with regards to specification requirements and implementation details
- deal with secure or security-focused applications in both testing and evaluation phases
- communicate project work to an audience with a general computer science background.
