Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:
- Demonstrate understanding of the principles of digital forensics
- Demonstrate legal and ethical aspects of the digital forensics process
- Critically appraise and use Digital Forensic Tools and Techniques
- Identify and analyse digital evidence related to security incidents
- Critically reflect on complex digital forensic / Incident Response scenarios
- Communicate and work in collaboration in shared investigation environments
- Build on initial skills and knowledge by independent research in cyber security and forensics to communicate findings to informed audiences
