Aims

To develop knowledge and understanding of fundamental web design concepts and combine these with database structuring and querying techniques applying this knowledge by implementing an easy-to-use website.

Syllabus

1. Web Design Overview and client-side scripting (1.1 Information Architecture, 1.2 User eXperience UX, 1.3 User Interface UI, 1.4 HTML, 1.5 CSS, 1.6 JavaScript)

2. Database Management System (2.1 Introduction to DBMS, 2.2 Conceptual Database Design with Entity Relationship Modelling., 2.3 Relational Model & Logical Database Design, 2.4 Physical Database Design, 2.5 SQL for Data Manipulation)

3. Server-side scripting (3.1 PHP, 3.2 Using PHP to interact with databases)
