To familiarise students with current techniques and paradigms in web programming. To enable them to design and implement robust and scalable web based applications.

Syllabus

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:

demonstrate an understanding of the principles and techniques of client-side programming.
demonstrate skills in server-side programming.
acquire skills to implement data transfer between server and client applications
implement interactions between web servers and client-side applications.
demonstrate an understanding how to store and access data on server site
