Aims

By understanding and applying the basic principles of computer communication and networking and the theoretical basis of data communication students will master advanced network design, analysis and management using key network protocols.

Syllabus

1. Introduce the Internet TCP/IP architecture and the basic principles of computer communication and networking along with the theoretical basis of data communication. (1.1 Computer Communication and Networking Xidian CS20300X)

2. Understand data link control, the media medium access mechanism, the network interconnection mechanism, and the transmission control mechanism. (2.1 Computer Communication and Networking Xidian CS20300X)

3. Master the basic concepts and principles of data communication, computer communication and network, and understand the related theory of the OSI and TCP/IP system architecture and data communication (3.1 Computer Communication and Networking Xidian CS20300X)

4. Understand the operation principle and related standards of main protocols of computer communication and network, IEEE LAN standards and application, the principle of IPv4 and IPv6 and network interconnection and network control mechanism. 5. Engage in design, analysis, development and management work of computer networks. (5.1 Computer Communication and Networking Xidian CS20300X)
