Location: Edinburgh.

Semester: 1.

Syllabus:

Technical reporting including technical authoring, final report (dependant on industrial placement)

  • Ability to present technical and project materials clearly in writing, including selecting appropriate document structures and visual aids: tables, diagrams etc.

  • To be able to critically review and consolidate knowledge, skills and practices.
  • To be aware of distinctive features of industrial reporting
  • To be able to deliver a final report bringing together all aspects of the industrial placement in a concise manner
