&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;Semester 2&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.macs.hw.ac.uk\/timetable\/MScAppMathSciS2\">Timetable<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Programme Pathways<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may take the Graduate Certificate either as a qualification in its own right as a graduating student or as a pathway on to a PGDip or MSc programme as a non-graduating student.&nbsp; Graduating students may also take the Graduate Diploma by choosing courses at a higher level.&nbsp; Non-graduating students have more flexibility in their course choices, and can opt for some lower-level courses.&nbsp; The Programme Director will advise students on appropriate choices for their pathways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Graduate Diploma<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You need to take 8 courses at level 9 or 10, and pass all of them at grade D or better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Graduate Certificate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You need to take at least 6 courses, with at least 4 at level 9 or higher, pass them all at grade E or better, and with an overall average of at least 40%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Non-graduating pathways<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may choose to follow a non-graduating pathway within the Graduate Certificate programme, either to develop your mathematical qualifications and experience, or as entry route to a PGDip or MSc programme.&nbsp;
