{"id":14217,"date":"2026-03-02T13:37:20","date_gmt":"2026-03-02T13:37:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.macs.hw.ac.uk\/students\/?p=14217"},"modified":"2026-03-02T13:38:18","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T13:38:18","slug":"macs-athena-swan-summer-undergraduate-bursaries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.macs.hw.ac.uk\/students\/macs-athena-swan-summer-undergraduate-bursaries\/","title":{"rendered":"MACS Athena-SWAN Summer Undergraduate Bursaries"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The aim of the MACS Athena SWAN Summer Bursary Scheme is to improve gender equality across our disciplines, and more broadly address Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) issues:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Any project that funds a student from an under-represented group meets the aims of the scheme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Likewise, a student project that directly addresses EDI issues also meets the aims of the scheme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"8cefaa3c\">Project proposals and submission<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Project ideas can come from students and\/or academic staff from across the School on the Dubai and Edinburgh campuses. A project proposal must, however, be submitted by an academic member of staff that is willing to act as the project supervisor.
