Damian Wilson is one of the most distinctive singers in the genre. He was both lead singer for Threshold and Landmarq and recorded a singersongwriter solo album for Verglas. This album shows the real face of the singer and it is certainly not progressive.
After a spin with Lasalle, having left both Threshold and Landmarq, he shortly after returned to record another album with both bands. Now he has left again only to appear on Ayreon's projects. The rest of his time it seems he is busy singing in musicals such as Les Miserables.
I am personally very fond of the dramatic almost operatic voice of Damian. Notwithstanding his good singing on the bands he was with, he shines mostly on his solo work.
