Summary

The second album of this promising English band.

The music

This is a strong new album by Landmarq. The music is mostly relaxed and soothing, and is interrupted at times by a sharp guitarsolo or even a keyboardsolo. The singing is particularly strong. In Embrace (lighter music) and the magnificent Ta'Jiang the albums knows its best songs, but the others are quite alright too. A small negative point is that some of the songs Gaia's Waltz and Tailspin could have been a bit shorter, missing a chance to gain a bit in power and expressiveness. The future of this band is unsure now the singer has left for the US to play in a band there.
