Summary

The second part of what is to become a trilogy.

The music

In 1991 the first of part of the series was the first release of SI Music. Now 28 albums and two and a half years later Clive Nolan and his buddy Karl Groom have, accompanied as ever by Tracy Hitchings and now also Alan Reed of Pallas, delivered the second part. The style hasn't really changed: symphonic, piano-keyboard dominated rock penned by Nolan with classical leanings in the compositions. Vocals and production are good and the music has its moments. However, the totality of it is too polished, too easy, also because of the singalong vocal melodies (The Vision Clears). Because of this the album could not captivate me.
