Werner
is a Senior Lecturer at Heriot-Watt University.
He is a founder of the international workshop
series KRDB - Knowledge Representation Meets
Databases.
His
research includes automated deduction, logic
programming and knowledge representation with
description logics. He also works in the areas
of information integration, structured data,
managing incomplete information and Grid information
services.
