King
The King is one of a few pieces whose moves are simply translated to the
3-dimensional arena. Since the king normally moves only one square at a
time, it can of course move one square in ANY direction. Carefully analyzing
the above diagram, you will eventually find that there are in fact 26 different
directions of travel to an 'adjacent space', and the King can move in every
one of those directions.
note: Kings do not castle in Trek 3-D Chess ...
