Examples: Multiply 4 times 316   Multiply 32 times 68

Step 2

                                          
  To multiply 32 times 68 will do it in two phases.
In the first phase we will multiply the digit 2 of
the multiplier 32 with the multiplicand 68, and
in the second phase we will do the same with
the digit 3 of the multiplier.
Thus, in the second step, multiply 2x8=16 (32x68).
Place 1 (16) in the first column to the right of the
multiplicand and 6 (16) in the second column
to the right from the figure multiplied, 8 (Fig 1).
