Abstract

Today’s technology-rich and dependent world generates data at a rate that often results in end users being swamped with tons of data, but with limited means for extracting the gems of knowledge hidden within the noise, knowledge required for effective task completion. In this talk I will review selected examples, in research and with application to industry, where I employed visualisation and visual analytics with Semantic Web technology to support knowledge management and communication of the knowledge this discovered.
