For the True Fan[tm] most episodes of all the different Star Trek series are a treasure chest of memorable quotes, that give some insight in the philosophy of Star Trek, highlight a certain aspect of a main character or are simply funny. That's why fans have come up with collections of these quotes. For historical reasons most of these quotes refer to the original series (TOS), the feature films (TMP) or The Next Generation (TNG). However, several fans, like myself, are actively collecting quotes from new episodes. So, watch this space! And if you have some quotes of your own you want to contribute, then, by all means, drop me a note!

I am using these quote collections to insert random quotes into the signature part of my emails. To that end, I have written a few emacs functions, which do that job. If anybody out there is interested in these function, I'm happy to share them.
