Mathematical Physics in Edinburgh
The main forum for mathematical physics in Edinburgh is the Edinburgh Mathematical Physics Group (EMPG). It was founded by mathematical physicists from the University of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University in 2000.

The North British Mathematical Physics Seminar (
NBMPS) has members at Durham University, Heriot-Watt University and the Universities of Edinburgh, Newcastle, Nottingham and York. It has four one-day meetings per year, which I organised from 2007 till 2012.

I was also principal organiser for the following workshops at the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences (
