Teaching at the University of Ghana
I currently teach the courses Fluid Dynamics, Thermodynamics and Differential Geometry (all in the 4th year BSc or 5th year MMath, MSc). Basic information is available on the Departmental Teaching Page. The material posted on VISION is only accessible for registered students. Courses I have taught in the past include Quantum Computing (4th year BSc), Mathematics of Motion (2nd year BSc) and Oscillations and Waves (2nd year BSc).
I have taught various parts of the Geometry and Topology stream of the Scottish Mathematical Sciences Training Centre (SMSTC) and am stream leader for supplementary modules on Classical and Quantum Integrable Systems (since 2019) and Geometry of Gauge Fields (since 2020).
Since 2005 I have taught courses on Ordinary Differential Equations at AIMS South Africa. The latest version is here. The course is also the foundation of the book which appeared in October 2011. In September 2011 I taught a course on Mathematical Problem Solving at the AIMS centre in Sénégal. From 2011 to 2014 I taught courses on Quantum Computing at AIMS South Africa. In August 2012 I taught Physics Problems and Principles at the AIMS centre in Ghana. Since then I have also taught course on Differential Equations and Quantum Computing at various AIMS centres. In 2019 I taught a course on Thermodynamics of the Atmosphere at AIMS-Rwanda.
In 2010, 2011 and 2012 I taught graduate courses at the University of Ghana. The first was about Quantum Groups, the second about Research Skills and the third about Atiyah's Configuration Conjecture.
