Aims

To develop case studies in key subject areas on how images are used, and how community image collections can support this use by offering facilities to deposit and share images owned by the HE community.

To undertake this work with close reference to the recommendations of the CLiC community image collections report:
My Role
My duties for the Image Case Study included:
- Conducted a review of current Engineering Image Collections
- Produced a demonstration RSS Image aggregator
- Conducted telephone interviews with image collection owners to guage willingness to share resources via RSS.
- Co-wrote case study on sharing of images with the Engineering Community
