ReSET
Project Status: Completed January 2007
Background
In collaboration with Glasgow Caledonian University, several colleges in the Glasgow area, and a number of producers of eLearning content, ICBL was involved in the ReSET project, which "rejuvenated" existing tried-and-tested but old computer-based learning resources. The project selected sections of material from resources created in the last decade or so that is suitable for use in HND/HNC level science engineering and technology courses, and updating the implementation of these resources so that they are stand-alone standards compliant, sharable, reusable learning objects.
The ReSET project took CBL resources such as TLTP and other legacy material and used it as the basis for producing 245 Learning objects which it contributed to the Jorum learning object repository.
My Role
My duties for the ReSET project included:
- Quality Assurance of created resources
- Metadata Creation
- Creating IMS Content Packages
- Testing of Content Packages in VLEs
- Formative Evaluation of resources
- Upload Content to Jorum Digital Repository
- IPR Negotiation
- Creating Workflow Diagrams
