Background
The LearnEM project aims to improve the "shareability" of resource that are useful for teaching engineering and materials topics. The project, which has been funded through the JISC Distributed eLearning Programme, is a collaboration between the Higher Education Academy Engineering Subject Centre and the UK Centre for Materials Education, with partners at Heriot-Watt and Cambridge Universities.
My Role
My duties for the LearnEM project included:
- Desk Study of Outputs of Publicly funded e-Learning projects
- Rejuvenation of selected content
- Creating IMS Content Packages
- Metadata Creation
- Upload Content to Jorum Digital Repository
- Testing of Content Packages in VLEs
- IPR Negotiation
- Creating Workflow Diagrams
- Produced Guides on reuable content
