To graduate with the degree BSc (Hons) Computer Science (Data Science) candidates must take the following 3 mandatory courses in Stage 4:
- Data Mining & Machine Learning (F20DL) – S1
- Statistical Modelling and Analysis (F20SA) – S1
- Big Data Management (F20BD) – S2
Students choose 1 optional in semester 1 and 1 optional course in semester 2.
Students on this specialism must do an approved dissertation topic suitable for this specialism.
The 4th year Project Coordinator is responsible for approving dissertation topics for this specialism.
Students are required to undertake the individual dissertation project (F20PA, F20PD, and F20PE) which shall run throughout the year.
